Life is Good (and so are we)

Things are bustling here at Miss Laura's!
We are getting on the slow bus to Modernville by implementing
some fantastic new changes.
"Like what???" you may be thinking
or "We don't want modern!" some might say.
NO NO NO, we are not working for the census.
Well, this is for our own good, as well as yours, dear client.
We will be asking for some information as to better serve YOU!
Nothing much, we don't want your first born or anything like that.
We want to know how we can reach you-
via phone, cell, mail or email.
"WHY???" you ask.
Well, we are now doing courtesy calls the day before your chemical appointment.
We also sometimes have emergencies and need to get in touch concerning your appointments.
So man up, give us your info.
Maybe you will get something in return.
Maybe not.

The New Year

So, we're ready for a new year. Yeah... the last one, well we're glad to see it go. Miss Laura's had some tough times like many of you fine readers. We are prepping for a makeover, are re-staffing and exercising our nimble little hands, excited for this metamorphosis to come to fruition.
The last year had us all in a tizzy. Lots of drama, lots of change, lots of problems. This new year we would like to sweep all that under the rug, and stomp on it until it filters through the floor boards to the hell it belongs in. Some of this sweeping is done and we are getting busy to accomplish the rest. We have a new receptionist, who is kind, patient and professional. The original owner is back from an 18 month move overseas and getting it all under control, bringing back the comfortable feel of the old days when a bob was a bob and an inch was an inch. We have retrained our staff to put the client's needs on top of the mountain, where it should be, to improve their skills, to listen and work with you. And we have shed some old friends who were bringing us down, with a tear in our eye.
And to you, beloved reader, we ask to give us a go. We are getting back to the neighborhood salon we started as, putting out quality work with pride, having interesting conversations, and focusing on YOU. Help us bring this old broad back to it's glory.
